Albian Dictionary: Da Blytz

"Da Blytz" refers to the bombing of Albia by the Germans during the Second World War. Albians remember this as a halcyon time in which the people of their plucky nation stood shoulder-to-shoulder against an overwhelming foe, while digging for victory, putting their best foot forward and saying "Don't tell him your name, Pike" to young members of the Home Guard. In fact, if one examines the records properly, it turns out to have been a time of soaring crime, rampant venereal disease and massively-overworked backstreet abortionists, while the spirit of Da Blytz turns out to have been illegally-distilled.
